2005 Bridgestone Sports concludes golf supply usage contract with 288 players
~ 20 domestic seeded male players and 18 domestic seeded female players ~

Bridgestone Sports has concluded golf supply usage contract with 288 players consisting of 188 domestic male players, 91 domestic female players and 9 overseas players.
Among the total, 20 domestic male players, 18 domestic female players and 4 overseas players are seeded players. In the USPGA Tour, Shigeki Maruyama (comprehensive contract) is in excellent condition, ranking in third at the SONY Open at the start of the USPGA tour and aims at the long-waited major championship. The young anticipated player, Hideto Tanihara entering seventh for award ranking in Japan has passed the Quolifying Tournament and will be participating in the long-sought USPGA tour.
Foreign contract players include Stuart Appleby, who has won two opening games in a row, Nick Price, Matt Kuchar (comprehensive contract) and overwhelmingly popular Fred Couples in the U.S. who has entered the contract starting this year.
Hajime Meshiai (comprehensive contract), participating in the Champions Tour for the second year, also aims at his first winning.
For male/female domestic tours, our contracted professionals to be noted include the 3 Miyazato siblings: Ai Miyazato, who has performed spectacular this year taking Japan to victory in the Women’s World Cup of Golf in February and finishing in second at the ANZ Ladies Masters, Kiyoshi Miyazato with his first victory last year and Yusaku Miyazato, the most anticipated player of the year. Also contracted are Toshimitsu Izawa, who will be aiming at the stake winner in two years, Orie Fujino who has scored her first victory in three years at the female opening game and Hiromi Mogi with two winning last year.
