Center Shaft Model of “TOURSTAGE PUTTER” Launched
Bridgestone Sports Co., Ltd. will launch a center shaft model of the “TOURSTAGE PUTTER” series, which is incorporated with a face insert made of a material developed using Bridgestone’s unique, advanced rubber technology, and a face technology that reduces the backspin of the ball and creates smooth overspin.
In the center shaft model, the CG position of the head is on the shaft axis line, making it easier for the golfer to make square contact with the ball. In addition, this model is face-balanced type, making it easier to achieve a straight stroke.

The putter adopts “NEO GRID GROOVE,” which has been designed to minimize the contact area with the ball (if used in Bridgestone products, examined by Bridgestone). This technology enables the club to reduce the backspin at impact, and achieve smooth overspin. Therefore, the club supports the desired putting with superb ball rolling.

Tungsten weights with a high specific gravity are installed in the toe and heal of the sole. This increases the inertial moment, enables smooth head movement even with an off-center hit, and achieves stable directionality.
