With its muscle back design combined with a compact head, it keeps CG distance short, while setting the depth of CG deeper than the conventional muscle back irons. As a result, it provides excellent club controllability as well as high trajectory shots with good control of spin. Furthermore, strong bounce design with a relatively narrow sole allows the player to hit the ball in a down-blow swing into a desired trajectory as imaged.

It employs a Hybrid forged processEto implant titanium into a mild carbon steel rod and forge them together. As a result, it has realized a soft impact feeling superior to that of a generally-used solid mild carbon steel head. It also strives for a sharp look preferred by pros and skilled golfers such as a compact head, straight neck and relatively thin top blade.
